Our History

Samaritan was formed out of a need for quality home health care. While there are countless Home Heath Care agencies in Southeastern Michigan, we at Samaritan recognized that the industry was short on two key qualities, the first quality being integrity, the second quality being excellence. The concept of Samaritan Home health Care was shaped over the process of 4 years, during which great thought and care was given to the notion that Samaritan would have to stand apart from all typical normal home care companies. Not only would it have to render care we also wanted it to inspire seniors to embrace healthy habits. After a little more than 4 years in the planning stage, Samaritan Home Health Care, Inc. transitioned from vision to reality by receiving its CHAPS certification in 2008. Today we as a team are striving every day to reach the pinnacle of in home care for our patients.
